I built the platform and team behind a subscription based booking platform for excess capacity hair services (think Uber for hair). I was responsible for building the SOA back-end using a modular approach with a Ruby on Rails back-end and a React.js and SASS front-end. I also built the payments disbursement system and booking acceptance platform for Salon partners to manage appointments and receive payments each month. I hired and managed the team to help maintain and build new features and built the object-oriented versioned API and helped build the iOS application to allow users to book and manage their last minute appointments in real time. I also attended the summer 2015 Y-Combinator session as the only engineer where we had a successful demo day.
